Barrel Pods

(minimum 2 nights - minimum 3 nights peak season)

three glamping pods

Our barrel pods, named after famous Arran whiskies, are rustically charming yet cleverly designed for maximum use. Looking for a smaller, quaint and cosy cabin? Then this is the perfect choice for you. Pods sleep up to 4 people and are available all year; they are perfectly situated for amazing west coast sunsets. Watch our alpacas munch on grass in their paddock by your pod and we are always happy to have kids (and adults) help us feed the animals in the evening. There is one wood-fired hot tub positioned by the pods which can be hired for your exclusive use during your stay.

The Bodega, The White Stag & Machrie Moor

(sleep up to 4)

The pods have a cabin style bed with a comfortable double mattress at the rear. A curtain ensures privacy from the front of the barrel, dividing into two sleeping areas. Futon mattresses are available for use, transforming the two seating benches into two single beds, mostly suitable for children. You can opt to hire bedding and have beds set up for your arrival for a small additional cost or BYOB (Bring Your Own Bedding). If bringing your own bedding, we do provide the duvets, pillows and protectors - you just need to bring sheets and covers.

A roll-out table is stowed under the cabin bed. Storage can be found under the benches, cabin bed and via a small rail and shelf system.

Accessed next to each barrel pod is a private wash hut comprising of a compost toilet, sink and shower. A small outdoor kitchen is attached complete with washing-up facilities. This is solely for your group's private use during your stay.
